The European Union project «Open Communities - Open Media» held the event «Results indicators of mini-grant component of the project».
The event took on 28 October 2021 in Bishkek.
Number of participants: 30, out of which 18 applicants for the mini-grants, 9 media representatives and 3 partners.
The meeting included presentations of the project teams on results achieved with their initiatives and awareness raised in society and media. All participants were given letters of appreciation and souvenirs.
The main applicants for the mini-grants were civil society organizations in partnership with the Small Public Councils (SPCs) and media representatives.
The grants were used for the following initiatives:
- “The rights of migrant children to a decent future”;
- “Capacity building for members of the Naryn oblast SPCs network in cooperation with the media”;
- “Reducing the vulnerability of migrants in a partnership of the media-State-LSG-NGO in Issyk-Kul oblast”;
- “Media resource as a tool for improving the quality of life of citizens”;
- “Media technologies in the development and promotion of positive communications for 4 SPCs on migration issues in Batken oblast”;
- “Protection of human rights and interaction with SPC and mass media in Talas region”;
- “Improvement of legal literacy of rural women”;
- “Opening of Media Center “El-Unu”.
