European Union funded “Open Communities - Open Media” Project implemented by the Gustav-Stresemann-Institute e.V. in partnership with Public Foundation “Resource Center for Elderly” (RCE/Kyrgyzstan), ProNGO!e.V. (Germany) and “Public Organization Generation XXI” (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan) in 2021 conducted two practical workshops "MASTERSHOP FOR REGIONAL MEDIA JOURNALISTS" for media specialists in Naryn, Issyk-Kul oblasts of Kyrgyzstan.
The program was designed for journalists, press secretaries, PR specialists, students, and independent media activists. Media specialists gained knowledge about formats and types of media projects, pitching and promotion. Moreover, new opportunities for working in social media and blogging were discussed, and at the same time all the methods were consolidated by practical exercises. At the end of the seminar, the participants were awarded certificates.
